WHAT INFORMATION WE COLLECT ABOUT YOU
We collect information about you when you either join DAVAR as a member or give us your information at one of our events or subscribe to our database, whether contact is online, on paper, by email or over the phone.
The information you give us may include your name, address, email address, phone number, other information concerning membership and payment information if you are a paid member (not relevant for DAVAR friend)
HOW INFORMATION ABOUT YOU WILL BE USED
In law, we are allowed to use personal information, including sharing it, only if we have a proper reason to do so, for example:

We will not share your information with any other third party without your consent except to help prevent fraud, or if required to do so by law.
INFORMING YOU OR RELEVANT EVENTS
We would like to send you occasional emails and the DAVAR flyer (if you are a member). If you are a friend, we will ask for your consent to receive this information. We don’t sell, rent or trade mailing lists with any other organisations or businesses.
We use a third-party provider, MailChimp, to deliver our emails For more information, please see MailChimp’s privacy notice here. If you have consented to receiving our emails, you may opt out at any time by unsubscribing.
If you no longer wish to receive our emails you can unsubscribe by clicking the unsubscribe link at the bottom of any of our emails or by emailing info@davarbristol.co.uk to request your details be removed from our mailing list.
WHERE YOUR INFORMATION IS KEPT
Your information is stored securely on an encrypted computer and/or hard drive within the European Economic Area. Sending information via the internet is not completely secure, although we will do our best to protect your information and prevent unauthorised access.

You have the right to request a copy of the personal information that we hold about you. This will normally be free, unless we consider the request to be unfounded or excessive, in which case we may charge a fee to cover our administration costs.
